Guest guest
and I have been doing great with the diet and seeing significant progress. 's psoriasis has steadily been disappearing, he isn't having to run to the toilet after each meal, his bowels are firming up, and his stomach pain has lessened considerably. I've been feeling fantastic, with much less gas, bloating, mucus etc. and my bm's have been improving as well. That is until I got a UTI and took antibiotics. The first day on them my bm was firm, but olive green. (sorry for the bm talk, but I know you all understand.) The next day it was blasting watery diarrhea and today I was back to the familiar cramping, sweating bloody diarrhea. I'm so upset. This is my first backward step and it crushes me. I am seeing my gp this afternoon and I'm wondering if I should ask for antibiotics in a shot, if that's even possible. I know I have to take care of this UTI, mine come on quickly and I'm in intense pain within a few hours after the first sign of having one. Guest guest
Hi Rhonda, If you are open to homeopathic remedies I have had success using "cantharis" for UTI's. I get immediate results and never have to take an antibiotic again. Cheryl, SCD 3-08 Rhonda Roman wrote: and I have been doing great with the diet and seeing significant progress. Guest guest
Digestive wellness sells a legal cranberry supplement as well as a cranberry juice that can be diluted. I take them daily to help ward off the dreaded UTI. Hopefully you will be off antibiotics soon. I hear it also helps to take extra yogurt when you are on antibiotics. Hope you are better soon. Guest guest
I've had the same question about the yogourmet- as SCD'ers really put those machines to work. How long do they last? Hope you feel better soon! PJ > > Thanks for all of the great suggestions! I'm totally wiped out today, > thank goodness for leftovers because I slept half the day away.
