Guest guest Posted August 4, 2009 Report Share Posted August 4, 2009 Yeah - you could do that. It doesn't need it -but it would give it a richer taste, moredepth. It certainly wouldn't hurt it. I made it the other day and added half abox of white mushrooms to it - it was reallynice - I ate it with those KBP parmesan crackers and some toasted pine nuts. And the next day I had it cold for lunch -it tasted similar to a vichyssoise - thoughless rich - I grated some parmesan in andit was delicious. My sis cooks just like my mom but there's always something missing and she said it was chicken stock. =) But, it's good both ways.
