I completely forgot about my yogurt. I always fill the Yogourmet with hot water

when I start heating the milk, so that it's closer to the right temp. when I put

the container in. Can this yogurt be used for anything, or do I need to toss

it?

Thanks,

Sara

I have seen that after 36 hours, the bacteria start to die off, so you would

lose the benefit of that. It is probably still OK for being lactose free. I did

this once and it was really tart and sour- so I tossed it as I would not want to

eat it anyway. It may be OK for cooking since the high temp would kill off the

bacteria anyway, but you may just hate the taste!
