Guest guest
Hi Tim gosh i hope that water goes away soon ! Hopefully you will be peeing like a race horse and rid of all that water colleenUncle Timmy wrote: Hey Gang!Just back from three hours at Richmond, seeing my PCP about these huge edemas in my legs. She confirmed my PS's estimate that I'm carrying about 20 pounds of water in them! (That's 2-1/2 gallons, BTW.) My feet are so swollen today, that I had to wear sandals. Couldn't get shoes on!The lab tests the PS in Walnet Creek ordered yesterday were normal and the ultrasounds my PCP ordered today (to rule out DVTs)were also negative (Although it was fun having ultrsound gel rubbed along my inner thighs by a little cutie!) so it's just massive water retention from all the IV fluids they pumped into me but hasn't been eliminated. Gravity just made it settle in my legs.Three new prescriptions, one for the water, one for the chronic insomnia, and one for (undoubtedly related) post-op depression (since we can't blame the Percocet euphoria anymore.) Guest guest
Uncle Timmy, I'm ROFLMFAO!!! Yeah, do the time warp! (I picked up some naughty language while overhearing my hubby watching Deadwood!) I'm sure your body will get rid of that extra water and you will be svelt and handsome (more than you already are). I'm so jealous! I can't wait for my tummy tuck, but I still need to get this last stubborn 35 to 40 pounds off before that. That hanging belly is such a bother and nuisance. -- Sandi > Hey Gang! > Just back from three hours at Richmond, seeing my PCP about these > huge edemas in my legs.
