Leaky Gut Test during SCD

Hi all,

I've just been on the diet a week and half. I saw my new GI today (old GI and I

didn't agree on things) and he wants to do an intestinal permeability test to

determine if I have leaky gut. He told me that I would need to drink a sugar

solution. Have any of you had this test during the diet? How did it affect

you? Do I need to start all over again after the test?

Thanks,

Holly O.

If you need this diet you've got something wrong with your gut. I wouldn't worry about the test result because if that is the problem then you already started the solution. Katy

What would you really do differently if you DID have leaky gut? Pour Dieu, pour terre,Alyssa 15UC April 2008, diagnosed Sept 2008SCD June 2009 (restarted)20mg Prednisone 1x daily ugh
