Hi PJ,It just needs to be refrigerated. This is from their website,11. Does GI ProStartâ„¢ need to be refrigerated?

Yes, GI ProStartâ„¢ does have to stay refrigerated to keep the bacteria alive, GI ProStartâ„¢ can be left out

of the refrigerator for up to a 10 days with only a 5% loss of active

bacteria, after 10 days the bacteria will die off at a very rapid rate

if left out of the refrigerator. GI ProStartâ„¢ should always be refrigerated to ensure maximum potency.15. Can I freeze GI ProStartâ„¢ yogurt starter?

Yes you can freeze GI ProStartâ„¢ yogurt starter up to 1 year.Take care,Kim H.husband, , CD 1999, SCD 2002To: BTVC-SCD Sent: Friday, August 7, 2009

This says to keep the progurt in the freezer. I keep mine in the fridge. It still makes yogurt. Should I keep it in the freezer?

Thanks,

PJ
