Guest guest
Hi all, I am feeling great today. Sleeping good and part of the time on my left side. We have the 2 bedspreads folded up and under the mattress and seems to give enough lift to be comfortable. I just put a pillow under my knees when I am laying on my back and it really relieves the stretch. I woke up this morning determined to get out of this room. I got dressed in street clothes with the help of my dh put on my socks and shoes and went to the restaurant with him (2 blocks away) for him to have his breakfast. Mine was 5 bites of oatmeal. I drank some water and about 6 spoons of coffee. By the time we got back it was time for a percocet and my protein shake. It went down well even though it took me about 45 minutes to drink it all. I seem to be able to hold about 2 oz at a time. I am sure when the inflamation in my stomach goes down it will increase in volume. I made some tuna and egg salad with fat free mayo gonna have some on crackers for lunch and dinner. I have had no gas or gas pains. Been really careful about fat (lol) and taking dairy care. If the beautiful weather we are having in NYC holds we are planning an excursion every day for the next 3-4 days then on to home sweet home. NYC has been very good to us. We have been blessed to meet the very nicest people. Whoever thinks New Yorkers are unfriendly have not had a good experience. The cashier at the restaurant my dh has been having his breakfast every morning came out from behind the counter with a hug and a kiss on the cheek. My worst experience so far has been the cab ride from Newark Airport when our flight was re- routed due to conditions. Got to meet , Pete, Camille and Liam yesterday. Wow have those kids got some energy. and Pete are wonderful. They brought me tulips, which symbolizes promise of new days to come. The visit was wonderful. We talked, played with the kids and just had a good visit for about an hour. Camille wants to come back everyday. lol. They love Bob. When they came in Camille crawled up on the bed next to me and sat there to keep her little brother from getting to close and accidently hurting me. She is just the cutest little thing. Great people. Thanks for the visit . Hope you enjoyed your dinner afterwards. Well, I have about run out of things to say.
