You can't see it, but I have a huge grin, imagining you on

rollerblades. I love it!

Just got back from rollerblading for about an hour!! SSSooo much

fun!!Still cant stop to well but I got up to a pretty fast clip.

Problem is my ankles are kinda weak and get achy...but its so much

fun I keep pushing. They will eventually condition and stop aching

so much. So I got my workout in today.

Going to a Graduation/Confirmation BBQ this evening. Im hoping to

behave myself. I didnt do so well at my birthday dinner last

night...sigh!! I ordered shrimp but ate wayyy too much.

Have a great day everyone!

PS: Maggie Ive done protein shakes and bars since about one month

post op. Im trying to get off of them as DR Baggs and DR Fisher do

not want us using them. I meet with Beth Waggoner on the 20th to

figure out easy ways to get my protein in and still have a variety

in my diet.

Hi ,

Thanks for the info about Tom Greenwood.... will he weigh me? Oh the

games we play... (while we can)! I will try to stay under goal, but

it's so darn easy to go off...

So, I don't understand, you had the surgery about a year ago and have

been using the shakes and bars, and you've done so well... why are you

consulting with Beth now?

What's a good protein powder to get? I thought it would be a good idea

to add it to the yogurt. I'm not wild about shakes and I probably

wouldn't want to fuss with making it in the morning. I love

yogurt...hopefully I still will. I know lots of people say their tastes

change, so we'll just have to see.

Keep up the great work, you're an inspiration to us all!

Best,

Maggie

Maggie, please be aware that you'll have to be careful about sugar content

in the yogurt you get after surgery. The lack of sugar, and the low carb

content, is why a bunch of us really love the Hood yogurt. LaWanda At

I wanted to mention that Trader Joes has Greek Style Plain Yogurt 1

cup has 260 calories, 8 grams total carbs, 8 grams sugar and 12

grams of Protein, Total fat is 20grams, potassium 30mg. Is this

considered good? They also have Mediterrean cheese style yogurt

which tastes like cream cheese. That has protein 1 gram, 60 calories

for 2 tablespoons, Potassium 60mg, total carbs 1 gram, sugar 1 gram,

5 grams fat.
