Yeah. Like when I was hunting for some chicken broth for my Mom -- I

mean, REAL chicken broth does not need to be loaded with sodium, and

either high fructose corn syrup or " evaporated cane juice, "

which is sugar by any other name.

Could I find any? No... so I made some.

Yes, I went through the same thing recently with broth, as well.I wonder if all the sugar is a marketing ploy to get you hooked on the product. It's an awful practice. --

Sugar is addictive. That's one reason going SCD can be such a shock to

the system. You're eating foods which you can actually digest for the

first time in who knows how long. And you aren't feeding the bad bacteria

their accustomed food, so they tend to go on a rampage, which makes you

feel lousy.

What I've found is I'm far less " snacky " on SCD

than I was prior. I wonder if it's because I'm actually digesting

the foods I'm taking in. Hmmm...

Man. I wish I had that reaction. I'm just as snacky if not more so (maybe

because I'm trying to counteract the cravings...which...I still definitely have

many years into the diet ::sigh:: )
