Guest guest
I think 40 is a good number and he is seeing many WLS patients a week who want the DS. I read somewhere that he has done over 4,000 lap surgeries ( of course not DS) and so I feel him being so skilled as a lap surgeon is more important to me. I would rather have an experienced lap surgeon who is fairly new to WLS than a experienced WLS who is new to lap.( that is not original I read it from someone else). I felt as though Dr. Elariny was competent and caring. One of my biggest criteria for a WLS surgeon was that he seemed geniunly concerned about the MO community and I found this to be true with Dr E. JMHO Kathy pre op 5/01/01 if approved by then Dr. Elariny
