Wow have those kids got some energy. and Pete are wonderful. They brought me tulips, which symbolizes promise of new days to come. The visit was wonderful. We talked, played with the kids and just had a good visit for about an hour. Camille wants to come back everyday. lol. They love Bob. When they came in Camille crawled up on the bed next to me and sat there to keep her little brother from getting to close and accidently hurting me. She is just the cutest little thing. Great people. Thanks for the visit . Hope you enjoyed your dinner afterwards. >> {{{{}}}} We really loved the visit, too! And, that Chinese noodle place around the corner - fabu! I had a great meal of sliced chicken (breast) on rice with curry/onions -- for under 5 bucks! (it's on the 'on rice' menu on the lower part of the BACK of the menu - sneaky HHAHA) Had to take half of it home and had it for breakfast, too! LOL They also had this GREAT cold shredded Chicken breast -- it's a Sichuan specialty (I remember having it along with MaPoTofu in Chengdu, Sichuan)... it is served with a pretty spicy peanut/sesame oil. I think Dr. Ren is right on the money about that place! You know what I was thinking - I should have contacted Deb ( dbbr@...) -- she lives right in the neighborhood and had lap BPD/DS with Dr. Ren. She doesn't read the duodenalswitch list much anymore, so I'm not sure if you were introduced to her? She lives right in that neighborhood! You are right that Camille and Liam love Bob -- they want him to be their new Uncle! LOL My father passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in a car crash two years ago. They had just met him for the first time at my brother Andy's wedding (in Ann Arbor nonetheless!) that previous October, 1999. Sigh. 's dad is not a real kid-loving type, my brothers are in Michigan and Seattle and 's two brothers are never around -- so they don't have a lot of energetic, fun and playful male role models! Thank you so much for being such a wonderful hostess and giving them some juice, etc! You look GREAT and I'm so glad you aren't experiencing any pain/problems. I really hope the weather holds out for you starting tomorrow so you can take little walks around the block, etc. I wish you a safe trip back (and a comfortable taxi ride to the airport!). Just think - the snow may actually be melting by the time you return???? LOL all the best and {{{hugs}}}} laparoscopic BPD/DS with gallbladder removal Dr. Gagner/Dr. Quinn assisting/Mt.
