Hi Kaitlyn's Mom,

It is possible you all were ill with hepatitis A. Can happen with shellfish.

Probably worst is over but if it was hepatitis you should take certain handwashing precautions, etc.

Your MD may be able to find proof of the diagnosis. Good to know what affected you and what you might watch for.

Good to know what affected you and what you might watch for.Having had hepatitus A once, I'd say the whole family would be far sicker than they were - really miserable - there's the jaundice, and the weird pisscolor and the deep, deep depression - and it incubates - takes a while for it to get to full force. Mara, not an experience I care to repeat. Like. ever.
