Guest guest
, hi, why are you making mayonaise? I was at puzzled on what to do for mayonaise for the 10 months my son is on this diet and I just got Miss Robbins catalog and YEAH finally a mayonaise that is GFCF, and soy free. Don't know what you have to avoid so here is the ingredients in it - non-hydrogenated canola oil, water, honey, modified cornstarch, applecider vinegar, mustard powder, lemon juice, sea salt, xanthum gum, dehydrated onion, pimento leaf, bay leaf, white pepper celery, parsley and cayenne. I spoke wit them up there and they say its GFCF, no eggs, no soy no chemical preservatives, no sugar and no irradiated spices. It's $3.29 for a 16 oz. jar Hope this helps, I know now LJ and I will be able to have tuna sandwiches again and I'll be able to bake with mayo again. on Long Island, New York ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Guest guest
Hi everyone, I had a birthday party for my son, Elijah, today and made deviled eggs (which were a hit, of course. SCD food is always a winner and I shocked everyone with the pecan muffins and how yummy they are) Anyway, now I have extra mayo and was wondering if anyone has something interesting I can do with it? No plain chicken in the house so nuggets are out, as is chicken salad and deviled eggs and egg salad. That same son is in some kind of flare or something so he got goodies today for his birthday and tomorrow it is back to intro-ish foods - chicken soup, really well cooked carrots, plain hamburgers, bananas (the cornerstone of my children's sanity, I think). Thanks in advance!! Have a great weekend... Chrissy mama to 3 boys on SCD 2 1/2 months

I can't believe you haven't done ketchup yet..though I do have 3 boys 7 and under, ketchup ranks above oxygen around here. I will try it with their hamburgers, though generally they turn their noses up a plain old mayo unmixed into things. silly boys. I appreciate it!
