Dear

I still have 131 emails to go but I have answered a few of the questions

about food combining.

Of course, if you have found that you, personally, cannot eat yogurt with

chicken, they you don't do it.

But I would like to comment on something you have said

>Even Elaine has said that her daughter still cannot eat certain

>foods. Therefore, this is a lifetime diet. Even if you can add new

>foods,

>there are still foods that cannot be eaten. But, I'll bet if you go back

>to.........

From Elaine

The above is not what I have found with SCD.

My daughter could not eat rice without bleeding even tho she was perfect

after 7 years. I wish I knew the reason for this but I don't.

However, people, including my daughter can go back to eating anything they

want provided it doesn't become the mainstay of their diet.

In other words, we are not adapted to eating the Food Pyramind and because

it is making people sick, it must eventually be dumped.

We just cannot eat all that carbohydrate in grain products without it

bothering our digestive systems

My daughter, for one, eats potatoes at least 3 times a week, bakes cakes

with ordinary flour for birthday parties and teas. But, on the whole, her

diet is an intelligent diet which is based on eggs, vegetables, fruit, meat,

cheese, etc. When she developed asthma from living in her reconverted

chicken house when she was married 25 years ago, we recently found that

giving up cheese (recommended by a chiropractor) certainly got rid of the

asthma. But her diet is very good as mine is. However, when in Toronto

these past two days, I did eat a tea muffin once but why not? I don't have

intestinal problems and you wont either so you will be able to have some of

these foods.
