Thank you for your replies Kim, Mara, Genevieve and SCD Dieter,

I was afraid the food poisoning from the steamed crabs would spiral

out-of-control and begin a flare but ... good news. Kaitlyn has once again

pulled herself out of it thanks to the SCDiet. After 5 days of intro again and

5 days of being careful she returned to " normal " last night!!

Yippee!! So wiped the sweat beads off her brow, grabbed her glass of

wine and danced a little jig as embarrassed Kaitlyn smirked, rolled her eyes and

said that she's didn't know me!

The GI visit went well. They are going to do stool analysis and blood work

profile next week. The only thing I didn't like was when they said that if her

SED rate is still elevated, that they would want to do scopes. EEEAAAKK!!!Her

last blood work from 11/08 showed 21 Sed rate. I'm not going to worry about it

because I feel it has come down since then. Other than that things were okay.

Kaitlyn is growing and gaining weight.

Thanks everyone for your support! I don't know why I panic when the SCD has

ALWAYS come through for her!!! It has NEVER failed us, now even with food

poisoning!

Hi there Kim,

Thanks so much, what a relief!! I wasn't sure what might happen with the food

poisoning thing for her. It's something I've never read about on the sites

before. And yes,.... I kinda guzzled that glass of wine!!

Okay,...... I admit it, I'm really OLD, exactly what is LMAO??????!!!! I'm so

embarrassed not to know this !!! I always thought of myself as a " hip old

mama " !!!!! Oh well!

Glad to see you are back and is doing well!!
