In Elaine's book, she recommends eating the dry cottage cheese mixed with yogurt on day 1. I read on the pecanbread website that they recommend not introducing the yogurt (probiotics) until at least day 5. Does anyone have any suggestions on this? I have crohns disease. Also, I want to make homemade mayo but the recipe has a raw egg in it. Since egg beaters are illegal I'm concerned about eating something that has raw eggs in it. Does anyone have a recipe where the egg is cooked? I don't have a yogurt maker and I'm not crazy about investing in one since I don't know if the diet will work for me.
