that's what I buy, but if you go to the next page they also sell organic coconut flour which I believe is without sulfites if that makes a difference to you.-UC - 1 yearSCD - 3.5 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 4 pills 3 times a day - hopefully scd will help me get off these! What kind do you buy and where from? I found the 'finely ground coconut' on digestive wellness, but it says it contains sulfites. Is this what you all normally buy?Pour Dieu, pour terre,Alyssa 15UC April 2008, diagnosed Sept 2008SCD June 2009 (restarted)No meds =)

I bought some Bob's Red Mill Coconut Flour at Sprouts (a grocery store in the SW

part of the USA). I've only made one recipe with it, but found it to be pretty

good. I bet you could find it at Whole Foods.

I really love the coconut flour from www.tropicaltraditions.com. If you sign up

for their email list, they have GREAT sales. (that being said, while I have

bought many things from Digestive Wellness, I have never tried the coconut

flour, so can't compare the quality. Tropical Traditions' flour is MUCH nicer

quality than Bob's--it is extremely silky and pure white, whereas Bob's is

clumpy and yellow. Nice to know Bob's is around in a pinch, though. It's

perfectly usable, just not as nice as the other).

I also use the Coconut Cream from Tropical Traditions and make puddings and pies

with it. YUM!

Ellen,

DW coconut flour is like a very fine shredded coconut.

Bob's is way smoother.

So TT's is nicer than Bob's?

I wonder why theirs stays white and why Bob's goes yellow?

Thanks for the info!

Jodi

I also have coconut cream concentrate. Do you have any recipes what to do with

this stuff that does not call for using any type of nuts?
