wow, Lenny! I didn't see Dr. G that much. I saw Dr. Quinn after the surgery,

then Dr. Gagner and Dr. Quinn the day after. I didn't see Dr. Gagner after

that.

I can't remember Saturday - I don't think I saw any surgeons that day -- No,

I

think it was Dr. Quinn stopping by to tell me that I could return home the

following day if I wanted or stay in until MOnday (my surgery was on a

Thursday evening).

Then, I saw Dr. Quinn/Dr. Pomp to be discharged on Sunday morning. I didn't

have any complications or problems and always got my pain meds delivered. I

didn't rely on the nurses for things such as bathing, new gowns, new bedding,

etc. since I had a private aide and they took care of those things (they also

helped me walk the first few times).

all the best,

Lenny! Sounds wonderful. I know when you say tiny what you mean. I

am still dealing with the " head " part of my surgery. My body can't

eat alot, but my old habits aren't completely gone. I am learning

when I am full I am full and I can't continue to pick at food like I

used to. I had a baked potato the other day and just wanted to eat

the whole thing up (my fav part is the skin drenched in butter and

sourcream) and I could barely eat the inside of it. My mind kept

wanting go devour the rest buy my body said there ain't no way!

Since I am less than 2 weeks out, I figure this is my learning period.

Congratualations on such a wonderful surgery and healing. On my

scale I am down 24lbs but that is without shoes and clothes so... add

a few for the Drs office :)

Lenny-

Wow! Sounds like it's been a good trip for you.

I know you said Flynn is a Nurse. I think I can only afford aides. For

first night of so, maybe I could swing a nurse. What's difference in care?

I'm relieved your care sounds good.

Hope mine goes as well! Any advice?
