For me, it will be 3 weeks. Some people go back after 2. My job is so demanding and stressful that I was advised to take 3. (i am an attorney.)pammagail52 wrote:

Hi Pam I went back to work at 5 weeks. I then went back 1/2 days for one week and was tired came home and took a nap. Listen to your body don't overdue it...

I had open RNY and was back to work in 4 weeks. I probably should have

taken 6 weeks as I work with children and was really sore the first

two weeks back. But my boss is awesome and put me on restricted duties

the first three weeks back.

Thanks , I work with children,too, and it can be tiring sometimes without the surgery. Do you have very far to drive to work, and how was that your first days back?
