Guest guest
Yes, it will get better. I thought for a while my insides would never feel normal. All of a sudden one day I realized they did. I don't remember exactly when it was but it will happen. Aside from a little bit "louder" stomach at times, I now feel "normal". Guest guest
Maureen, What you feeling is normal. Recovery is not quick, but one day you will wake up and feel better. It is always darkest before the dawn. I am 11 weeks post-op and I feel great. I almost feel like I didn't have surgery. I am amazed at the amount of food I can eat. I eat what ever I want although I do keep protein on the top of the list. Teri
Guest guest
I know exactly how you feel! I thought I'd never feel " good " again! Well, I'm 11 weeks post-op & for about the last week or two, I've been feeling pretty good for the most part. I feel almost " normal " . For your nausea, you might want to try some ginger tea or try sucking on some crystalized ginger. You can get them both at a health food store. It helped me. I had about 3 days where I had " morning sickness " but ALL DAY LONG! I think it had to do with the hormones being released from the fat & they were hitting me all at once. Hang in there & I hope you feel better soon. Also, getting back to work & in a regular routine has also helped me. I don't have so much time to sit around feeling sorry for myself anymore. Take care, Cheri > I'm 6 weeks out today. Went back to work at 3 weeks. Thought for all > I've been through, I don't feel too bad.... just feel like I've been > punched in the gut... and waves of nasea. Just wondering if we ever > feel completely like our old self, or just get used to living with > this feeling...any help appreciated, thanks Maureen
