I don't think deliberately going into malnutrition is a good thing! The

problem is that it is MUCH easier to retain one's storehouse of iron,

calcium, and protein (among other nutrients) than it is to restore it

once it has been emptied, especially when you factor in the

malabsorbtion issues.

I really don't think they comprehend malabsorbtion! Um, why did we get

intestines bypassed, instead of just getting one of the restrictive

procedures, like a lap band?
