Guest guest
Well in yesterday for my 1st post-op appt. I lost 3 pounds, yahoo! My staples were removed, now I have 5 circular wounds, each have 3-4 red dots on top & bottom of a straight line (looks weird to me). Doctor also added to my liquid diet---scrambled or boiled egg whites, tofu, yogurt, cottage cheese and cheese. He sent me back to work on July 5th but I asked for an extension of 1 week more to return 7-12-05. Dr office told me that I could take 4 weeks maximum, but I told them that if I took 4 weeks off, my work would take 1 sick day away from me. So I like the idea of 3 weeks off, can relax a bit and learn to eat before going back to work. My work isn't too exhausting, I'm only a customer service rep, however my tummy has been hurting (straining) when I'm sitting up too long at the computer. Guest guest
Great to both and ! ! , you proably gained water weight in the hospital, like the rest of us...that you also took off. I had gained 5, but poor Pam gained 20!!! So, if you didn't weight yourself until your appointment at the surgeon's...you probably lost even more. Today was 3 weeks out exactly, and I weigh exactly 20 lbs. less then when I went under the knife (I actually lost 25 lbs. if you count the 5 lbs. of water!) So, I'm down a total of 46 lbs...Started at 261.5, went into surgery at 235.5, and today I weigh 215.5!
