Shelf life of raspberry jam

I just made some raspberry jam the other day, and I'm wondering how

long it will last in the fridge.

I didn't sterilize the jar because that was before I knew I should,

but it had gone through the dishwasher and been stored with the lid

on. And now it's in the fridge. And sadly I haven't even been able to

try it because I just intro'ed tomatoes, and my symptoms got weird. So

now I have to wait until my symptoms somehow show me whether tomato is

the problem or whether this was coming anyways. So yeah =(

Should I freeze it? Keep it in the fridge?

Oh, I also have some raspberry water left over from the whole de-

seeding process that I was going to use to make raspberry lemonade.

Should I freeze that?

Alyssa,

freeze the jam in ice cube trays. Then, when it's frozen, pop out

the jam cubes into a ziplock bag. That way, you can take one cube

out at a time and have fresh jam any time you want it.

Ice cube trays are just the best invention.

I freeze ketchup in them. Also lemon juice and home-made hot

sauce. Anything that I want to consume a tablespoon at a

time.
