Hi PJ,

LDN 4.5 mg is the maximum dose for everyone taking it for

autoimmune disorders, including bowel disease patients. I would suggest you go

to the LDN website and look for your info there. You can find a link to the

clinical trials at Penn State (if I remember correctly). If you do not have the

address, it is www.LowDoseNaltrexone.org

I find the site a little difficult to navigate (but then I’m computer

challenged!).

What are the sources for the LDN dose of 4.5 mg? I would like to discuss this

with my doc, but it would be nice to give some evidence- papers, studies,

articles, that have settled on this dose as the best one for guts.

That is the standard adult dose for people

above 105 lbs.

That's what everyone gives for most complaints -

certainly gut complaints.

You could go on the yahoo list and ask for

evidence if you want.

I don't have any offhand.

There might be something on their website as well
