Guest guest
The orchid you gave me in the hospital is just gorgeous....it's on my kitchen table, and it is so healthy and pretty and full of blooms. Thank you so much for your sweet gift. I really appreciate it!!! Pam, sadly your roses died a couple of days ago, but they were absolutely magnificent for mor re than two weeks!!! I had them here in the bedroom and looked at them constantly while I was recovering. They were glorious, and I loved them. Thanks, Sweetie. Tim, I've seen the DVD four times now, and I learn something new each time. Thank you so much for sharing that with me...and also, what the heck would I have done without the baby spoons and forks and the Hood's yoghurt (which I still can't find anywhere in SF!) Thanks! , my little giraffe and my teddy bear have become very good friends, and they hang out on my bed together. He's such a little softy softy, I love her. By the way, her name is Gigi...after you. Pascha, your sweet flower arrangement in the teacup was just enchanting. So bright and cheerful!! I loved the flowers in the arrangement...and now I have a beautiful little teacup to drink my CAFFEINE free tea out of!! Thanks for that. And thanks to all of you who have been so supportive and present for me in the last few weeks as I begin my first part of the path to recovery. Well, shoot...more than the last few weeks...way before that, really. I just feel so completely blessed to have found you guys, to have made such lovely, caring, compassionate friends along the way. And Sweet Pam...you are the one who brought me to this group, so you get a big and special extra thank you. Love you all, RobynnRobynn VanPatten wrote: Kay..Wonderful! Also, it's great that you only gained four lbs. in the hospital...lots of people gained much more (I am like you, in that I only gained 5). Can't wait to start hearing about your progress on the way down!!! Take it easy, even if you feel pretty good. You sound a lot like me, and I have to say that by the beginning of the second week, I was TIRED. Really tired. That surprised and worried me, as if I was regressing, but I've been assured that it's completely normal. i think we may be exactly three weeks apart in our surgeries...you were on Wednesday, right?
