I've had both. Can't say that I see much difference.

Thanks for your responses. I ordered a huge amount from Nutty Guys and it was

very coarse by comparison. I didn't want to make the same mistake again!

how is Bobs Red Mill Almond meal?If it says almond 'meal' and not 'flour' then it's probably not fine enough to use for baked goods and such. Pour Dieu, pour terre,Alyssa 15UC April 2008, diagnosed Sept 2008SCD June 2009 (restarted)No meds except for stupid iron pill I have to take that is SO illegal

Honeyville is cheaper - plus they have sales 10 or 15% off sales.

You can't use TJs for baking - or, well, you can, but as you discovered

it doesn't work that great - but it's fine for things like almond milk

or

when you need a bit of a coarser texture.

Honeyville is great for baking.
