Guest guest
I had surgery 11 days ago and I wore underware. I did not have a binder, but I also had the Lap procedure. I purposely wore panties that I could move up or down a little depending on what I needed. Guest guest
Hi , I had open DS and although I didn't wear underwear while in the hospital (because of the cathader hanging between my legs), I didn't have any problem whatsoever in wearing it once the cathader was removed. My suggestion is to wear panties that aren't tight around the waist. You shouldn't have any problem. Guest guest
I bought a few pairs of underwear 2 sizes too big. I also bought really big sweats and a long sleeve t-shirt to wear home from the hospital. This helped greatly! jill K in NY __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Underwear was never a problem for me after surgery. I wore it every day. I also wore pj's with an elastic waist (loose) and loose fitting elastic waist slacks. T. in Kansas

Guest guest
Hi. Me, again! I never go without undies either, but after not wearing them in the hospital for so long, a couple more days weren't going to hurt. You get used to it. I wore a lose jumper dress home with a shirt underneath it. I also wore my binder under my dress & NO undies! You probably won't want pants or anything touching your incision. Even after I started wearing undies again, I kept the front pulled down under my stomach so it wouldn't rub on the incision. I had to travel two days to get home. After the first day, my incision was really sore from the binder rubbing against it constantly. The second day, I covered it with some gauze & taped it down. They sent it home with me so I had it on hand. For anyone traveling, I would suggest doing this before you leave the hospital. It really helped me. Guest guest
I'm still at home, off work, but > going back in a few weeks and I dont know what I'm > going to do. > You think they will notice a nurse in scrubs without a > bra? lol > > Just put bandaids over your nipples and go for it! lol, Hey do what you gotta do. My bras are getting to big and not supportive at all so I might as well wear nothing. Its just to say I have one on. Jo
