Guest guest
Hi I think LaWanda was more offended by the "tone" of the email than the actual anonymity. If you met a person on the street, you would not proceed to spout out all of the thing you wanted from them. You would introduce yourself, present yourself as a person, acknowledge the others as people and then proceed to your request. The same should be true of the internet. You have to establish a repore. And the writer just spouted out demands. It isn't wrong for that to have rubbed Lawanda the wrong way. I think all should respoect that and not withdraw advice because of it. Remember, we are all at different stages of our journey, particularly emotionally. Who are we to judge the reasons? This group has always been known for it's friendliness and support to all. Should we change now? I have to say I'm a little disappointed in the negative responses.LaWanda Ezell wrote: I will not respond positively to someone who doesn't even care to give a name. Guest guest
I wasn't just talking about LaWanda. There were several other very negative responses. Again, with holding information on this list just because someone doesn't follow we someone perceives as the correct internet rules of etiquette is wrong. Did it ever occur to anyone that not everyone's social skills are equal, especially for those who have weight issues. I still stand by my response--I'm disappointed in the negative responses.bhokoana@... wrote: Hi I think LaWanda was more offended by the "tone" of the email than the actual anonymity. Guest guest
I agree! Stacey Re: Protein (Post Surgical) I don't think it really matters what this person's name is the fact of the matter remains that he or she needs help. We all need to dig deep and go back...and for some it will be way back and remember how we felt during our process and all the questions we got answered, needed answered, etc. Not posting a name is the same as not telling someone about your surgery. Its a choice...it is neither a right or wrong one...just a choice and we all...specifically the POST OP people need to be aware and be sensitive as we can towards our pre ops but more importantly be sensitive to one another collectively whether post op or pre op. Lets not get so lax that we forget were we just came from. Now, for the person that had the question about the protein, Vitalady.com is an execellent place to start because of the samples that you can get for roughly $1.99/$2.00. As stated before your taste buds will change. Some...but few have said that their buds did not. Start there. I hope that help. Pam Marsh --- Robynn VanPatten robynnsf@...> wrote: > I agree, Chris.
