Guest guest
I love baked chicken thighs with barbeque sauce on them. You can buy a package of chicken thighs and freeze them 2 in a ziplock baggie. thaw as needed. Spinkle them with salt and pepper and then pour barbeque sauce over, then bake for about 40 minutes. You can also stew chicken in a pot with celery and onions and carrots for flavor. Saute the veggies with a little olive oil then add chicken thighs, add a little water or chicken broth, like 1/2 cup. Add salt and pepper and oregano and garlic powder. Cover and keep on medium-low for about 30-40 minutes. Stir once in a while and check on liquid level. if it starts to stick, add more water or broth. you can also add soy sauce. MMMMmm! You can buy a small steak and freeze it slightly and then slice it thinly. (It's easy to slice thin when its partially frozen). Then add some olive oil to a pan and add 1 sliced onion and some chopped garlic. stir this until the onion is soft and translucent. Add the steak and stir fry over medium high heat. Add soy sauce and chicken broth to prevent sticking to pan. you could also add some broccoli or green bell pepper. Maybe add some salt and pepper or red pepper flakes. sesame oil is good to add to if you have. just a little, the flavor is strong! This only needs to cook for a few minutes. I hope this helps. i cook a lot and have like 1,001 cookbooks so you can e-mail me if you'd like any specific recipes. foodtv.com and bonappetit, com are good places to go for recipes too! Guest guest
I cook for myself too, but I tend to cook a normal about & then freeze it or eat it as leftovers for several meals. Recently I bought some chicken breasts & frozen stir-fry vegetable mix. I sliced the chicken breasts & cooked them & then added some veggies. I also used some sesame oil & it gave it a good flavor, more like chinese food or something. I also sliced & cooked some chicken breasts & then sliced part of an onion & bell pepper, both so they're in long strips. I added some " Fajita " seasoning & ate it like that. You can add some cheese, sour cream, or salsa, if you'd like. It's pretty good. I've also used leftover stuff like this to make an omelet the next morning. Hope this helps.
