Guest guest
hi all. i know i posted once before about the watch that i was going to get, the one with 16 alarms and 'training' mode that i was going to set to buzz me every fifteen minutes to remind me to drink water. well, i've had the watch for a while now and have been using it VERY successfully. i thought before i tried this that if i had a vibrating alarm going off every fifteen minutes i would want to kill someone, but fifteen minutes is surprising long and it doesn't bother me at all. sometimes i find myself taking a drink of water and i don't realize until after the fact that i was responding to the 'buzz'. this must happen many times a day without me noticing it. the first few days i was very conscious of it and i waited for the alarm to go off, but i quickly forgot about it and it has made it EXTREMELY easy to drink the recommended quantity of water. i am pre op, so i know drinking is much easier for me. but an oz of water would be a few sips, and an oz every fifteen minutes is 1/2 cup, the amount recommended for post ops. also, you can set it to buzz every ten minutes if that would make it easier, and you set the start and end times so it's not buzzing in the middle of the night. i would definitely recommend this watch for anyone having trouble getting it the fluids. it's worth a try! i love it. plus the 16 alarms can remind to take vitamins, eat meals, take walks, stretch, whatever one wants to schedule for the day. pretty cool! erika 5'2 " , 281.5#, bmi 52 surgery date 7.30.01, or as soon as i'm called. dr. herron
