Guest guest
I know there have been discussions about the Mac Daddy of all blenders but darned if I can remember the name. ( was it vita something?)Vitamix. Does anyone have a really good one, or recommendation. please? We have a blentec, and it works great. It sounds kind of scary sometimes, but online comparison pages said the vitamix was even louder... Guest guest
Marilyn, Yes, SCD killed my blender. ( sob) I noticed that smoothies were not happening and I would have to transfer mid- blend to the Cuisinart ( messy) and today, while trying to blend the spinach and the eggs to make the 'souffle' PJ posted, it just stopped. I cursed. So, I'm splurging and I'm gonna Buy me a Vita - Mix. Do you have the 5200 or what do you think of the CIA professional one? I have read the reviews and they are all positive. I figure I will be using it for a long time. Terry

Guest guest
Blendtec and Vitamix. They're both AWESOME machines. I have a vitamix and my bf has a blendtec. They were both pricey but they're both well worth it given what we blend and how often. Guest guest
Hi Terry, I dig my blendtec.. It's smaller than the vitamix (a bit less expensive too) so it fits really well in my smallish kitchen. Also, the company was so easy to deal with when I had a problem with mine (totally killed it after bowel obstruction and post surgery) They fixed it with no issues whatsoever.
