Guest guest
About three months ago, I decided that I wasn't buying anything until after my surgery. I threw away every Lane , Roaman's, Silouette's catalogue that came to the house and believe me that's a lot of trash! Today I threw away some old panties and bras...I'm thinking about going into my closet and starting to purge it too. I have lots of clothes that I will shrink into becauae I was 40 lbs less than I am when I came to the Bay Area and I really liked those things...even though they're probably hopelessly out of style. It'll be fun to fit into them and then make the decision to get rid of them or not. We should have some kind of clothing exchange... my largest things are size 22-24 and some are very nice. I would love to share them with someone on their way down... Maggie

Guest guest
Hey Maggie! Great minds think alike. Thanks for posting this! I got into a cleaning rampage and completely cleaned out my closet. Took about 2 hours. It felt SO good to get all the old clothes out of there. Lots of it is winter stuff too. Now I have 1/3 the wardrobe I had, but at least it is easy to get ready in the am since I don't have to dig through all the clothes. I have a friend in need of new clothes and she is my old size, so I am seeing her today and will surprise her with her new wardrobe. :-) Once I am into the next size down though, I would like to add the clothes I have to an exchange program....do we have one here on this site? Currently I am at size 22/24... Kay > > > About three months ago, I decided that I wasn't > > buying anything until > > after my surgery.
