Interestingly enough, I worked out a similar solution during my first year on SCD, so follow most of the suggestions in the excerpt you posted just because I learned to pay attention to my body's rhythyms and signals. So I don't need the rest of the article. It gets complicated when you have functional digestive disorders that affect motility, among other things. I work towards symptom management, not complete remission. Thanks to SCD, and paying close attention to my body's rhythyms and cycles of all body systems, I've come a long way in five years -- my doctors are amazed. I give all the credit to being on SCD, figuring out my own body's needs, and avoiding food additives and preservatives... I've been offline for a few days, moving into a new house.
