Guest guest
You are very welcome Jodi,I'm " working " on some variations of coconut bread and if the results worth it I'll post themI don't know if it's possible to see but I'm attaching 1 picture of my muffins Yana 1 of 1 Photo(s)
Guest guest
Yana! I love your picture! I " spiced " up the bread recipe as I don't want to add honey or baking soda. I added cardamon (This is the second time. It is nice but I am doing something wrong as I used 10 pods in my mortar and pestle and that is a lot and still it doesn't have so much cardamon flavor. I wonder what I am doing wrong? Should I roast the spices or cook in ghee?) I also added fresh nutmeg, lime rind, fresh cinnamon.. I am thinking of maybe making a spicy one with some hot peppers or something. Maybe even dehydrate tomatoes and make a savory tomato/olive/hot pepper thing? Guest guest
Thanks Jodi,I was so proud of the result that the photo was a must! LOLMay be roasting the spice a little bit will help. And speaking of dehydration, if you bake the bread on a cookie sheet or a pizza stone (like Marilyn's pecan souffle bread) and then dehydrate it i could be used as a pizza crust. An your suggestion with tomatoes/olive oil etc. on top of it. Something like bruschetta. Just and an idea.Yana
