Guest guest
Sandy, I cannot speak for everyone else that has sent you some $'s to go to Portland--I think that it's great when people help one another. But, for me I would really rather see you be able to save yourself the expense of mailing individual " thank you's " . I, for one was brought up to sent those notes..but in this case when you are literally struggling to have your surgery away from home & to take your caregiver with you--I would really rather see you save the money & put it towards something special to remember this time in your life. Like I said, I certainly cannot speak for the group --just my opinion. I am very excited for you & wish you the very best in your pursuit of you new life. Take good care. Guest guest
Sandy .... I agree with Ogretta, You do not have to mail me a thank you either. Knowing you are going to Portland is thank you enough. Besides, you already thanked us all through the support group. Just enjoy! Guest guest
Sandy, I agree, please don't spend your money on snail mail thank you cards. I did receive your email and that's more than enough I think you have all the paperwork you need. If they don't approve your surgery with the info you have then someone's got their head attached incorrectly and may need a surgical procedure to remove it! Good luck in Portland! *hugs* Anita Pre-pre-op in Denver > > > > > I just want to tell everyone that I'm still not getting all the > > group mails and have no clue if I'm getting through for sure. Guest guest
Hi Sandy, I agree with the others who have replied. You have been exceedingly gracious throughout your posts to all of us that have sent a little something. Please save your money. If you have extra, spend it on your first few sets of ADEKs or protein shakes or even something nice for yourself or your caregiver. I, for one, sent what I know was one of the smaller donations and I would rather believe it really helped get you your surgery than went to the US Post Office. Well, at any rate, I am glad things are on the move for you! Keep the faith and stay smiling! You deserve every bit of it! Terri Hassiak BMI 60 http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/profile.phtml?N=H980366398 maybe maybe maybe maybe maybe will actually be switched 5/9/01??? email(no spaces): bunsofluff @ hotmail.com
