Guest guest
Your hair doesn't fall out in clumps nor in large amounts at one time. You will just notice more hair in the tub or the sink when you wash it. I also have very thick hair and it did get to the point where I could notice my scalp but that only lasted for a couple of months and now my hair is just as thick as it was. Guest guest
While I don't know how much hair you lose, I can tell you that you are only without what you lose for a few months. After that time, it starts to grow back. LaWanda At 09:20 PM 7/14/05, you wrote: >ok when the hair loss starts does it look like you are havin cancer >treatments or something. Guest guest
NO, you will not lose enough to be noticeable. It does come out in handfuls but you will not have any bald spots. If you are really concerned try taking some biotin found at GNC. But try to relax, it does stop. Guest guest
, if I may, Sheryll, my name is Pam Marsh and I think that the amount of hair loss is based on a number of things. First of all, I am African American. If you know anything about our hair type, we don't wash our hair everyday like some other cultures. The hair is just to dry naturally. My hair started shedding at 3 months and it did not come out in handfuls. It was a normal shed like when you comb your brush your hair. I believe that because the hair is not washed so much (natural conditioners and moisture is not loss as often as it is with someone that might wash their hair everyday)I had less shedding and not coming out in handfuls. Now that is not to say that other African American people's hair did not come out in handfuls. Only mines did not. So, take the biotin as stated and some zink. You can also try a product called Nioxin (you can get it from a salon but I have not seen it in the beauty supply store yet). It promotes hair growth and strenthens the hair. My sister is a hair stylists and that is what she use on her clients that have cancer and have had treatment and it grows their hair. I know that is a concern...hair loss because our hair is our glory. It will stop at some point and if it doesn't, there are all sorts of beautiful wigs that look natural. Whether your hair comes out or not does not change who you are. Your beauty lies within and not in your physical attributes. I wish you peace on your weight loss journey and would love to hear from you more often. Pam Marsh --- Diane Duenas brendadiane64@...> wrote: > > NO, you will not lose enough to be noticeable. Guest guest
No it does not. You are too cute (I am not making light of the situation). It will just come out like when you come it. Or when you wash it or blow dry it. I mean it won't be liket you touch it and a whole socket or section just comes out and you have bald spots....not at all. Try not to get to upset about the hair situation as stress causes hair loss as well. As stated, no one else might not even notice it. No one noticed my hair thinning. I know because I am the one that handles my hair daily. You will be okay.
