Guest guest
Kay, often after surgery, while you are loosing the weight quickly, your body feels cooler than before. I know, it's a pain when at work and you're freezing and everyone else is sweating, but it's easier to put on a sweater than take off clothing when you're too hot. Besides, it's nice to go out in the hot weather and not be dripping in sweat and miserable. When I was over 300 pounds, I was warm all the time; I never wore anything heavier than a light jacket, even in the winter. Now, since surgery, I need a warm coat and hat during the wintertime when I go out. I keep a sweater in the office all the time when the air conditioning gets too cold for me. Also, my husband used to be colder than me, and I was hot all the time in bed; now our body temperatures aren't so different. It feels good to be more normal! --Sandi H. Guest guest
Oh my gosh this explains so much. I had my surgery a little over a week ago on 7/12/05 w/ Dr Baggs in Richmond. I have been getting more cold lately in the house and I thought it was nothing, but thanks so much for explaining this. I usually like the air in my house at about 68 degrees and I keep moving it up a degree so right now its like 72 or 73 and its a little cold but I like to be able to cuddle in a blnket. Thanks for the info. Tammy"Sandi H." wrote: Kay, often after surgery, while you are loosing the weight quickly, your body feels cooler than before.
