1) Does anyone know how many people ( estimated ) use our diet.I did research a while back estimating the number of people that are members of this group and pecanbread, and it was over 5000 people. Now, we can't guarantee that all those people follow the SCD, but at least it's a number to start with.. Godspeed! The only problem with that number is that more than a few of them don't use almond flour. My family doesn't even use any nut flour any longer.

Good point..I don't use any almond products right now, and probably a lot of others don't either. But then, most people who are advanced enough to have almond flour probably aren't a member of a group anymore. So it's really hard to estimate. Godspeed! Hi All, I have two questions.1) Does anyone know how many people ( estimated ) use our diet.2) I am working on a deal with an almond farm in California, my goal is to make almond flour moreaffordable to us. The best I have seen flour by the pound offered for is in the mid $4.++ range and that's if you order 25 lbs at a time. If all goes well, we will be able to buy almond flour for $3.50ish a lb, available in 5 lb bags .Please let me know how you feel about this. The reason I need the response is that, to get that price, I have to pay full price for each case purchased. But once we hit a set quota of purchases, there will be a credit given back from the farm. That would be great. Do we have to purchase it as a group or something? How would shipping work? Mara

> $3.50 a pound would be a big help!!I certainly second that.I use a great deal of almond flour and it is pricey (though far better at Honeyville than elsewhere).(It would have to be ground very fine, however.)n________________A note for cat lovers: Coming in late October (a great Christmas gift): Confessions of a Cataholic by n Van Til (WordPower Publishing).

For anyone in the SF Bay area, Monterey Market in Berkeley recently started

selling almond flour for $3.99/lb. That's the cheapest I've seen, and no

shipping cost. However, they don't refrigerate it and I don't know how long

they store it. Maybe I can find out who their supplier is and we can go

directly to them, if Lou's deal doesn't work out.
