Guest guest
Alyssa.. The taste of the seeds don't bother me, but my bowel still cannot handle that seed punch. I juice berries, cilantro, parsley and lime and strain with a chinois and dump into smoothie. More time but well worth it for me. It's like drinking sand. Or in the case of raspberries, like drinking small pebbles. Does anyone strain out the seeds somehow? Godspeed! Guest guest
I can’t stand raspberry seeds. I cook the raspberries with a little water so they release their juice, then I push the raspberry glop through a fine mesh strainer using the back of a wooden spoon. It takes forever. It’s a lot of work. But you are left with a seedless raspberry compote. Guest guest
Alyssa.. Check out the top picture. These strain the heck out of anything! I juice first and then put through the chinoise. But you could cook a bunch and strain and have it for a couple of days. I would add a squeeze of lemon to keep it good. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinoise These gadgets are very pricey so I bought mine at a restaurant supply shop. I have two since they are so useful. Guest guest
When I make cranberry sauce, I run it through a food mill. It removes all the skins and seeds. I've never been a fan of skin/seeds in produce, so even when my bowel can handle them, I'll still remove them.
