Guest guest
If it was grainy, try soaking it in water/ milk/ liquid for a little while. Then add to mixture. That's what I had to do with GF grains when making b-day cakes on just GF diet. I found another coconut muffin/bread for you guys to try. It calls for coconut oil instead of butter. You just need to sub baking soda for baking powder:I think Yana sent this one a few days ago. I just tried it yesterday as my first coconut flour recipe! They were good! THe texture's a little weird just because it's coconut. A little grainy, and very dense. But yummy! I had a hard time stopping myself at 2 1/2 =) Peace =)Alyssa 15 yoUC April 2008, dx Sept 2008SCD June 2009 (restarted)No meds! I wonder if you could make coconut butter, or if something like the coconut cream would work in those recipes. I just got two pounds of the Tropical Traditions coconut flour and haven't had a chance to play with it yet. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
