Guest guest
greetings!..while you don't know me, i have been a very grateful lurker here for very long and feel as though i know all of you..was always afraid to post..didn't want to jinx anything by actually saying i am having wls..now as the clock ticks toward my pre-op appointment with the great and powerful gagner on 5/16/01,i need to thank all of you for the tremendous wealth of info, the great joy, even the sadness you are all so willing to share..you have truly helped me prepare..have my bloodwork completed, verbal insurance approval, my psych letter in hand.. thought of horses during my endoscopy, researched every new word you presented, learned about greenfield filters and elevated toilet seats, sequential compression devices and reverse trendelenberg position, reminisced about junket rennet custard, made a whole list of things i will need post op including various butt wiping solutions, and froze half-full bottles of water...i have laughed while envisioning hundreds of us without belly buttons, but with tattooed vines connecting the scars...continue to light candles at 11P each night for those of us in need..swung so many chickens my arms are sore...and still have no idea what that means, but the list says to do it, and i have come to value your judgment..now, i want to be a coffee bean and i am off to see the wizard..many thanks..nancy fissel
