Guest guest
Hi Pam, Please remember to be kind to yourself and not to beat yourself up so much. We are only human and sometimes we are not as prefect as we would like to be. Like you said normally you would get a big Mac and had everything else super sized and you didn't. It may have not been the best choice of food to eat but you need to pick up yourself now and move on. We are working to change a lifetime of bad habits. These are habits that we didn't learn overnight and take time to change. You are working towards becoming healthier but next time you go to Mcs you really need to ask yourself do you really need to eat this food or is it because you want to. We have to eat because we need nourishment for our bodies. When we eat something that we want to it is to fill some type of emotional need. I know that there it is mostly comfort food. When you go there take some food for yourself to eat and buy only for your son. I have been where you are and Mickey D's was one of my favor places to go after work and on weekends. But there came a time where I had to make a choice between being eating what I want or being healthy. I chose health and I haven't regretted it. I am not saying it is an easy battle because it isn't. As everyone knows is that what we are doing or have done is stomach surgery and not brain surgery. We all have our demons that we have to deal with on a day to day basis. Just remember you have a little one that needs you and he it worth giving up the trips to Mcs and all the other things that you do to sabotage your efforts to get to goal. You are doing great because you are reaching out so just keep in mind that you are doing this to be a healthier person. Ramona

Which ever Pam this is, I know this is not a easy rode and sometimes we do vear off the road a bit. what you need to remember is that some times there are road blocks or we just take detours. You acknowledged it for what it is just keep pressing your way. It does get easier once all the checks and balances are in place. Hang in there.
