Just a reminder that Francisco and I will be running our marathon this Sunday. OMG its finally here. After 6 months of training, we will finally be running the actual marathon. If anyone wants to come watch, I think you can get course details at runsf.com. I will try to find the actual link.Huggles

Congratulations Honey!!!! To Both of you!!!!

You Guys are awesome!!!!

Big Hugs

Caryl

I did it!!! I completed 13.1 miles in 3 hours and 40 minutes!! Which means I did in in the required time limit. Barely, but I did it!!! At about mile 11.5, my right leg really started to hurt. It was weird, it actually felt ok when I was running but when I took my walk breaks...I could barely walk. It was really amazing. My program rep Kara who had to step down about two months ago was there. She had been such a source of strength for me...always believing in me. She actually stayed at the finish line to greet me when I crossed. She hugged me and said see I told you you would do it. At that point, I lost it....I cried so much from sheer happiness that I indeed had succeeded in my goal. I trained hard for six months, I never gave up, I gave it everything I had and OMG I DID IT!!!Im really sore right now. But as soon as I get the pictures I will post them.HugglesPS: Francisco, Im so glad I found you before the race began... I was telling my pace group that I couldnt do it until I got my hug from you and I got it just in time!!! You are awesome!!

Congratulations !

I was in SF on Wednesday, and about 7pm, I saw many people, probably about a hundred or so, running in groups between the ferry building and pier 39. It was so great to see, and i thought to myself, i wanna do that one day. You and Francisco have been such an inspiration!

So -- when is your next one? LOL ( I heard marathons are like tattoos - once you have one - you want more :)

Congrats . I always knew you could and would

complete the race. Thats what it is all about.

Starting something and seeing it through to the end.

I am so proud of you. Anything you want to do, you can

do it and I hope this was a renewed belief and

strength in because we all knew and believed in

you.

Francisco and , the bond that the two of you

have is awesome. This surgery is far more than just

about weight loss but a journey. Its about life's

lessons, its about pain, sweat and tears. Its about

truth and faith. Its about being vulnerable and

feeling. Its about giving and taking but more

importantly, its about courage, strength and LOVE.

I am so very proud of both of you and pray that God

continues to groom you for your journeys that are

ahead. Never give up or in. Be proud of yourselves

and what you have achieved but more importantly, who

you have become.

Love ya both dearly. I am truly blessed that I have

cometo know you. Maybe some day I will get to meet

you in person Francisco. I have been fortunate to

have already met who is truly beautiful!

Take care, get some rest and continue to love

yourselves. I am so proud of both of you.

OMG Pam!!! You keep making me cry!!!! Thank you so much for your

beautiful words.

I am so full of emotion today I can barely keep them contained.

Im really really sore today and thought about taking the day off

work, but alas I have no subs so I will go in but take it easy!! LOL

Francisco is a beautiful person. His entire being just radiates with

his loving heart. I saw him just seconds before the start of the

race. I was searching and searching for him. It wouldnt have been

the same without him seeing me off. I got my big hug and we can do

its and then we were off. I saw him a couple more times during the

run and his encouragement kept me going. He did so well. Finished in

2 hrs 40 min!!! Can you believe it Francisco, we are marathon

finishers!!!!! How about the full next year!!!

Thanks again Pam...you are awesome!!
