Guest guest
Thanks Tina. Yes, it is a great feeling and I know without the group, it would be a lot tougher. You will get there real soon. Don't worry about the rate of the weight loss. My weight does like this....Nothing for 2.5 weeks and then 6-10 pounds comes off then nothing for 2.5 weeks and then again, a huge drop. So, I learned that is how my body is functioning and I am alright with now but it was hard for me at first. Continue doing what you are doing even when it does not appear that anything is happening, it is. When the numbers don't move, the other numbers will (size of your clothes) which means you are getting smaller and that is even more of a plus. Take care and keep us posted and the good work. Guest guest
Oh my gosh! There are just so many Pams out there. Well its our time! I am glad I can encourage someone out there because it keeps me going as well. I am sorry to hear that you will have to post pone your surgery but you know better than any of us on this board what works better for you. If you can afford to do it before then, then why not but you want to make sure that you have the time post op to recoup. From what I have been seeing, you can go back to work after 2 weeks, but I think most of us did 3-4 weeks. Whatever you decide, decide for " Pam " and don't be influenced one way or the other. Timing is everything. Congrats on losing the weight you have thus far and no, it never hurts to lose more. I know you can do this and it will come off. Just stay focused. You will see. The wait is well worth it. Take care! Pam Marsh --- granela52 granela52@...> wrote: > Hi Pam Marsh, and Everyone, > > Wow,Congratulations on your fabulous weight loss!! Guest guest
No, I had not looked that far I guess. I suppose when I get within 5 pounds maybe I will start looking as I am not sure what size I will wear. Its all strange and exciting at the same time and I am so happy. To know that I startd out at 249.5 and to look back 5.5 months later and see where I am now. Boy, its like Christmas, my birthday, getting married, having children all at one time. Now that is excitement for you. Thanks again for your encouragement because even though we have had the surgery, we still need encouragement. Thanks again.
