Guest guest
.. I want to find out if there are a lot of differences on how many supplements you have to take between the 75 and 100 cm common channels According to the chart he gives you at post op there is just a requirement for the DS, he doesn't specify any difference in the common channel length that I know of. However I could be wrong. Just to throw in my 2 cents and you know how little 2 cents are worth: I would not recommend less than 100 cm common channel length, some patients who had less are having bowel problems and I am sure that the "extra" weight loss is not worth the possible digestive problems. For me long term I would prefer to know I would have a better chance of health with a longer common channel. <<<<<<<<<<drops 2 cents in can>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Kathy B Dr. Elariny

Guest guest
My common channel is only 50 cm because my small bowel was so short. I am doing fine, weight loss has slowed enough that too much is not going to be a problem and blood work is perfect. Dawn, I am very glad to hear of you and doing so well, because there were a few people who had shorter common channels who are having problems with diarreah, so glad that it is not everyone with this problem Kathy B Dr. Elariny
