*stunned* Protein bars I actually like!!

Okay, I'm sure you all remember my despair with protein bars, finding one after

the other all left this horrible aftertaste in my mouth that made me want to

gag!! Well, someone here also mentioned they had a hard time with protein bars

until they tried Luna bars (whoever said it, thank you!!). Anyway, I was at Wild

Oats to today and I saw them, so I basically said, what the hell, I might as

well try them, I can eat one bite and toss them like I did the others. I got the

S'mores and the Nutz about Chocolate. The S'mores was great!!! (and not just

great for a protein bar, I mean great in general), great flavor and texture, no

initial or lingering disgusting aftertaste! It only had 10 grams of protein, but

hey, it's better than nothing and what's the point of a 22+gram bar if I can

barely it one bite ? Not only did I eat the entire bar..I eat half first and

then waited to see if I'd get a weird taste and not want to eat the rest, but I

didn't and I ate the entire bar! The Nutz about Chocolate is great if your a

big Reeses fan, because it tasted like peanut butter and chocolate to me and I'm

not a huge fan of peanut butter. (For those of you who do like Reeses Peanut

Butter cups, you'll love this flavor!!)

To whomever told me about Luna bars..again *thank you!!* Now I know if I want a

protein snack, there's an edible portable choice for me that won't make me hurl

*grins*
