Guest guest Posted May 20, 2001 Report Share Posted May 20, 2001 In the first week of June or so all the bariatric surgeons in the known universe are holding a conference in DC -- call up the Kaiser surgery dept. and ask if anyone is going -- if so, call that doc and ask him to find out about the DS and tell whoever the gods of Kaiser policy are the story on this surgery. And if no Kaiser Doc is going (cuz the conference includes RNY docs) ask them how they can claim their docs are any good at doing the WLS procedures if they are not participating in peer WLS conferences. Dr. Anthone and Dr. Crookes of USC are presenting a paper on their first 450 patients and what they learned and how they modified the procedure based on experience.
