I don't know what you guys' schedule is tomorrow or even if you'll read this by tomorrow morning but my surgery is at 7:30, so if you're up and about whisper a prayer for me, ok?"

Please tell Glo that we will have her in our prayers and that she is an encouragement to many with her strength and trust in Jesus.

I got a message from Glo I thought I would share with everyone. I sure do love her. I am calling her tonight (if I can get through, the phone has been busy). I have sent everyone's prayers, love and best wishes for her surgery and recovery. Can we all hold a bit of a candle light vigil tonight for our dear friend. I am going to light a candle and say a prayer for her at 11 pm (please join in whatever time zone you are in).

"a few weeks ago I found out I fractured my ankle when we were in NYC. The x-ray doc said I've been walking around on a broken ankle all this time. They put a cast on it and it's healing pretty good. Then, lol, a couple weeks ago when we were at the hospital for my preop testing I had severe pain in my back while I was talking to the anesthesiologist and they had to take me to ER, where they found out I had a kidney stone in the urethra and several others in my kidney. I am still hoping to pass it. They gave me that toradol, , for pain and it sure worked great. Got rid of all my pain within 10-15 minutes! For someone who doesn't like to take meds unless it's absolutely necessary I sure was grateful to have it. When they did the second CTscan to find out where the stone was they also discovered a large mass on my kidney. The kidney stone and the mass have been put on the back burner for now though until I get through this cancer surgery. The surgeon Dr. Ren recommended is excellent...he's done over 3,000 of these kind of surgeries...and no, that's not a typo, lol! Some of the doctors and techs have commented that I'm unusually calm for everything I've been through but I just tell them the strength they see is Jesus in me. I know who I trust in and regardless of what happens I know I'm safe in His care. I don't know what you guys' schedule is tomorrow or even if you'll read this by tomorrow morning but my surgery is at 7:30, so if you're up and about whisper a prayer for me, ok?"
