I used to feel so alone in my struggle with weight loss. I live in the Syracuse area, but might consider going out of town to have the operation. I'm not sure that the physicians who are involved with bariatric surgery here also perform the duodenal switch. I hope my insurance will cover the operation if I choose to go out of town. I'll be meeting with my primary care physician on Friday to discuss the possibility of my having weight loss surgery. I hope he will come through & give me a referral to a good surgeon.
