Guest guest
Way to go Jodie for the excercise, and going again tomorrow! And I hear you about the kids - mine are old enough to get on the pot, but who can remember? Thanks for posting the numbers, it helps the waiting go faster. Marietta,GA Dr. Waiting for Surg. Date > Hi all. I finally made it back to the gym today. I walked slowly on the treadmill for 30 minutes and that was about enough! I was measured for the first time since the surgery. I was measured at the gym the day before I went into the hospital. In 3 weeks I've lost 2 1/4 " in my chest, 3 1/4 " in my waist, 10 " in my abdomen! ( I can really tell this!) 2 1/4 " in my hips, 1 " in my rt thigh and 1 3/4 " in my rt calf! I will weigh myself again Friday when I see Dr. Hess again. On the minus side, out of pure habit I lifted my 3 1/2 year old daughter onto the toilet while there. I didn't even think about what I was doing until it was done and then I sure felt like a dumb ass! There probably aren't many post ops with small children who haven't done the same thing though. Its just reaction when those babies need you! I will definetly be more careful though. So, while the work out was good, I'm ready for a nap and I will make sure I make it back to the gym again tomorrow! I love to hear about how things are going with you, it really helps me keep hope that I too will manage to be a sister switcher someday soon. Thanks for posting your progress.
